We are looking forward with anticipation to the next session of the “Mardis du cinema” film screenings, on Tuesday 10th April at 8.30pm. The “Théâtre des Variétés” is presenting Jean Eustache’s Mes Petites Amoureuses continuing the theme "Totem films, taboo films". More than two hours of humour and tenderness set in strikingly realistic scenes await you. After the viewing, who could dare say that childhood is the most beautiful phase of life?
Earlier on in the evening, you can watch Laurent Achard’s La Peur, petit chasseur.
The plot…
Daniel lives with his grandmother in a beautiful, quiet corner of "douce France". He seems carefree, but serious, as so often is the case during the troubled phase of adolescence. His mother, who lives in Narbonne, comes to see him with her companion, José, who is a farmer. Daniel realises that she has decided to take him back.

He rejoins the couple in their little apartment in Narbonne, and is made an apprentice to Henry, José’s brother, who has a cycle workshop. He encounters freedom, loneliness, the working world, and friends. He also experiences love for the first time...
