Government Counsellors

In order to fulfill his commitment, the Minister of State is advised by five Government Counsellors who are each administrative heads of departments. The Counselors are accountable to the Prince.

    March 1977 - August 1977 : Head of the Prefect’s Cabinet in Paris, Secretary General of the Prefecture of Paris
    August 1977 - August 1981 : Sub-prefect of Ussel (Corrèze)
    August 1981 - April 1983 : Director of the Secretary General’s Cabinet for the City of Paris
    April 1983 - May 1985 : Secretary General of the Paris Council
    May 1985 - October 1987 : Director General for all departments of the Corrèze General Council
    October 1987 - February 1989 : Prefect of Corrèze
    February 1989 - May 1993 : Prefect of Orne
    May 1993 - June 1998 : Prefect of Allier
    June 1998 - September 2001 : Prefect of the Vendée

    January 2005 : Appointed as Director General of the Department of Finance and the Economy
