Government Counsellor for Finance and the Economy :

Under the responsibility of the Government Counsellor for Finance and the Economy, the department deals with all financial matters relating to operations carried out by the state.

The Department of Finance and the Economy has an extensive remit as all issues concerning the budget are submitted to it.
It oversees the activities of a large variety of services.

It is responsible for managing public policies relating to the following domains :

- The Economy and Trade

- Housing
- State-owned Property
- Gaming Control
- Control of Financial Channels
