Vintage yachts on Venetian Lagoon for 4th Principality of Monaco in Venice Trophy Super Cup Banca Generali, 24–26 June 2016

The Monaco Tourist and Convention Authority’s representative office in Italy, in conjunction with the Honorary Consulate of Monaco in Venice, last weekend organised the fourth Principality of Monaco in Venice Trophy, dedicated to vintage yachts. Banca Generali was the official sponsor.

The event took place from Friday 24 to Sunday 26 June in Venice. A gala dinner at the Venice Casino was attended by 120 guests, including yacht owners, important Venetian personalities, all the sponsors, and Guillaume Rose and Eric Marsan from the Tourist and Convention Authority, who discussed the numerous things which the Serene Republic and the Principality have in common in terms of tourism and history.

To conclude the fourth Trophy, on Sunday 26 June, the Marina di Sant ‘Elena hosted the 31 boats registered for the competition (twice as many as had been registered in the previous event) and the prize ceremony to reward the Trophy winners.
