The DTC's London Office Brings Business Tourism Professionals Together

A few weeks ago, Monaco Tourist and Convention Authority's London office organised a meeting between business tourism professionals from the British capital and partners of the Principality.

At this meeting, Guy Antognelli, Deputy Director of the Tourist and Convention Authority and Nicolas Manuello, M.I.C.E. Sales Manager for the Convention Bureau, accompanied the team from the London office, headed by Stephan Degueurce-Roberge.

Many of the Principality's partners – institutional partners, hoteliers and incoming agencies – attended the event.  Representatives from the Grimaldi Forum, the SBM Monte Carlo, the Fairmont, Meridian and Columbus had travelled there, as well as CMX Event Management, the Lafayette Group Monaco, Raising Stones and Dream Catcher.  As a result, at this "showcase," more than a hundred clients had the opportunity to discuss and clarify new projects in a friendly atmosphere, where Mediterranean products took pride of place.

The success of this event, which was held in Soho at the premises of the record store Phonica Records, once again demonstrates the attraction that Monaco has for this clientele and recognises the know-how of tourism professionals in the Principality.

Finally, note that, with regard to the other segment of the clientele, leisure, large numbers of British tourists came to the Principality in July;  an encouraging sign for "Destination Monaco."
