Photo competition : The Mediterranean in all its guises

To mark its fortieth anniversary, the RAMOGE Agreement is holding a photo competition, entitled “The Mediterranean in all its guises”. The competition is open to all amateur photographers. The aim is to draw the public’s attention to the wealth of biodiversity, as well as to coastal landscapes and the problem of waste at sea in the RAMOGE zone, which extends from Marseille in France to La Spezia in Italy.

Three themes have been chosen for the competition:

  • Symbolic and vulnerable marine species of the Mediterranean
  • Waste: a threat to the Mediterranean
  • The remarkable natural coastal landscapes of the RAMOGE zone

To participate in the competition, complete the registration form which can be downloaded via the following link:

http://www.ramoge.org/fr/ConcoursPhoto/

(available in French or Italian only)

Forms, together with high-resolution (4967 x 3508 pixels) digital photos, should be submitted before 30 June 2016. Each entrant should choose one of the competition’s three themes and submit just one photo. Since the selected photographs are likely to be exhibited, only those of sufficient quality will be able to be enlarged.

A prize of €300 will be awarded to the winners. The prize-giving ceremony will be held on 20 September 2016 at the Oceanographic Museum in Monaco. The selected photos will also be exhibited there.
