For almost three years, the Monaco Mediterranean Foundation, chaired by Enrico Braggiotti, has been holding a cycle of high-level lectures on the societal challenges of the 21st century.

H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince Albert II, who places particular importance on preparing the younger generations to act responsibly when building their future, wished these strategic lectures to be held under His High Patronage.

Enrico Bragiotti, President of the Monaco Mediterranean Foundation and the initiator of this programme, wanted the Department of Education, Youth and Sport, under the responsibility of Isabelle Bonnal, to be fully associated with his ambitious approach.

As part of this partnership between the Monaco Mediterranean Foundation and the Department of Education, Youth and Sport, these lectures, which were initially open to high school students in the Principality's general education system, quickly became very popular with many other students, who expressed their wish to attend these discussions on sensitive and strategic topical issues on a voluntary basis.

To meet the high expectations of the Principality's young people, Enrico Braggiotti and Isabelle Bonnal decided to open up this cycle of discussions to all high school students in the Principality.  Students from the Sciences Po Menton campus and the International University of Monaco were also invited to take part in this exceptional series of lectures.

The quality of the speakers, who are renowned for their extensive experience in the fields of economics, international relations, finance and geopolitics in particular, has contributed significantly to the enthusiasm of young people for these high quality discussions.

The way in which the pupils and students build their future is linked to their awareness of strategic issues and key changes in the modern world.  Enrico Braggiotti has taken this generous, innovative approach successfully in close collaboration with Isabelle Bonnal, both of whom were confident in the Principality's ability to take responsibility and act on behalf of its young people.

The 2017-2018 series of lectures "For a Young Audience" began on 16 October 2017 at the Auditorium of Monaco's Vocational and Catering School (Lycée Technique et Hôtelier de Monaco) with a lecture by Tigrane Seydoux, co-founder of the "Big Mamma," restaurant chain, whose start-up has been a great success.  More than a hundred students from the Principality attended Tigrane Seydoux's talk, and through numerous relevant discussions, showed their interest in this openness to the modern world.
