Creation of jogging track in Fontvieille

The Department of Urban Amenities is proceeding, in stages, with the resurfacing of all paths in Fontvieille. As part of this work, the Department is creating a soft-surface jogging track between Avenue des Ligures and the sea wall at the Port of Fontvieille.

The track’s synthetic, cushioning surface is the same as that used for athletics tracks and children’s playgrounds.

Work to lay the track is continuing in the area surrounding the Rose Garden.

To date, more than three quarters of the track has been completed. In the end, it will extend for a total length of 1,300 metres.
