Serge Telle, Minister of State, has just opened the Information Security and Systems Conferences ("Assises de la Sécurité") which are taking place at the Grimaldi Forum until 14 October.

"It is important for the Principality to welcome you again this year … because Monaco is one of the safest States in the world and will do everything possible to remain so, including in the digital world," stated the Minister of State.  "The advent of digital is a revolution ... and a revolution is always synonymous with dangers.  We will therefore have to face new challenges, such as securing networks, implementing appropriate procedures, developing the capacity to respond, training staff and building competent teams, and finally, creating a relevant ecosystem.  Our ambition is to be part of a movement that will be decisive for our future in terms of security for our residents, and also in terms of attractiveness."

The Information Security and Systems Conferences are host to more than 2,500 participants, 165 partners, 170 lectures and workshops and aim to be an unmissable event for cyber security in France.

The highlights of the event include the "Before" event - a day of reflection and work involving 200 directors and well-known figures from the cyber security sector, the RSSI Grand Prix awards, organised in partnership with the main professional associations, including ANSSI and EUROPOL, and the Cyber Task Force, a working group comprising political, civil and military players from the world of cyber security, whose aim is to make recommendations.
