The "Rallye du Cœur" Charity Rally in Monaco

The second "Rallye du Cœur" ("Rally of the Heart") charity rally, organised by the Monaco Disease Power association, will take place on Saturday 30 April.  From 11 a.m., in the Place du Casino, you can ride around the Monte-Carlo Formula 1 circuit in a classic car.  The price will be 50 euros as a passenger and 70 euros to take the wheel of the car of your choice (you must have a valid driving licence in your possession). 

Rent A Classic Car, the official partner of the event, will provide 11 collector's cars, which you will be able to admire and try out on the F12 circuit.  Renowned cars, such as the Citroën DS Cabriolet Chapron as driven by Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, the Mercedes 190 SL made famous by Princess Grace, the Porsche 356 Speedster, "James Dean's car" and the extremely rare Berlinette Alpine A110, as well as the famous cars driven by Tony Curtis and Roger Moore in "The Persuaders," the Ferrari Dino 246 GT and Aston Martin DBS 6, will be available on the day.  There will be a choice of two- and four-seater cars, so you can relax and enjoy this fun event as a couple or with your friends and family, in aid of a good cause. 

All the profits of this event will be donated to the Monaco Disease Power association, which helps people with mental disabilities and autism in the Principality and abroad.  In particular, the money raised will help fund the "Maison d’Amélie," residential holiday accommodation in the town of Annot that is specially adapted for people with disabilities and their families. 

Dignitaries from the Principality will also be present, including Mr. Stéphane Valeri, Minister of Health and Social Affairs, Mr. Jacques Pastor, a representative from the City Hall, Mr. Fréderic Platini, Secretary General of Monaco Red Cross, as well as the patron of this event, Mr. Denis Carreaux, Publications Director of the Nice-Matin Group.
