2nd day of the Basketball Champions League : A.S. Monaco Basket vs Hélios Suns Domzale

The Roca Team is continuing its European adventure!

The Monegasques will be host to the Slovenians from Helios Suns (Domžale) this Wednesday, 26 October, at 8.30 p.m. in the Gaston Médecin Hall.

In their first European encounter, the Slovenians lost their home match against the Greek team Aris Salonika 54 to 62.

Nevertheless, the Roca Team should be wary of American player Brandyn Curry, the best player of the franchise, who scored 3 points and 2 rebounds against Salonika.

Helios Suns are the reigning Slovenian champions, and are used to high-level games.  The Slovenians regularly take part in the Adriatic Basketball League, which includes the best teams from the former Yugoslavia, such as Partizan Belgrade and Cibona Zagreb.

Last Sunday, the Monegasques further consolidated their status of favourite for the title of French champions, narrowly beating Le Mans 83 to 81. The Roca Team is now the only unbeaten team in the championship.

Faced with the Slovenian team, A.S. Monaco Basket can count on their key player, Brandon Davies.  Elected MVP in the match against MSB, the American player had his best match of the new season, with 22 points and 7 rebounds.
