Launch of the Digital Talks Series

The Digital Transition Office (DITN) and the Digital Services Department (DSN) are launching the Digital Talks, a series of conferences aimed at the general public.

Keen to ensure continuous improvements in quality of life and the services offered to Monegasque nationals and to residents and employees in the Principality, the various departments of the Prince’s Government have developed a range of innovative services based on new technologies.

Creating value from a limited space is the common denominator between Monaco and digital technology. It represents a unique opportunity to perpetuate and amplify our model, make it ever more attractive, and reaffirm the Principality's influence.

Launched on 30 April 2019, by H.S.H. Prince Albert II, the Extended Monaco program embodies this ambition. It is the result of collaboration between the Interministerial Delegation for Digital Transition (DITN) and all departments of the Prince's Government, public institutions, concessions, and federations, as well as private partners. It promotes the development of a sovereign, responsible, and inclusive digital environment that complies with the highest international security standards.

Created to benefit Monegasques as well as those who choose the Principality as their place of residence, work, business, or tourism, the Extended Monaco program is structured around four priorities:

  • Strengthening Monaco's attractiveness and contributing to our economic development
  • Improving the quality of life for Monegasques, residents, and commuters
  • Improving the efficiency of public services
  • Consolidating our current platforms and developing infrastructure in line with the latest technological developments

As part of its digital transformation, the Principality places great importance on artificial intelligence, recognising it as an essential driver of innovation and performance.

Its deployment is based on the digital infrastructure deployed since the programme's launch: 5G, the sovereign cloud and the Government's secure data platform. The solutions implemented aim to provide concrete and direct support to our civil servants and agents, and to offer our users a high-quality experience in line with the best international standards.

As with all digital projects, these measures are implemented in strict compliance with security standards, the fundamental rights of our users and the protection of their privacy.
