Visitmonaco.com: the destination’s new-look online showcase

Modernizing the administration to increase the value of public services is one of the four priorities of the Extended Monaco program.

As part of the Extended Monaco Programme, numerous government departments offer simplified online services and procedures, which benefit everyone.

HIRS–Human Resources Information System

The programme is modernising HR across government, automating key processes such as payroll, career management, pensions and working hours. It provides a secure portal for civil servants and managers, along with a digital vault to protect sensitive information. The sovereign cloud ensures that all data remains secure and under government control.

Regulatory Compliance

The programme supports the work done by government departments and agencies to tackle money laundering, terrorist financing, and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction in line with the country’s official National Strategy, and efforts to deal with corruption in accordance with GRECO recommendations. Several digital solutions have already been rolled out to meet these goals.

National Archives

The programme is moving the public archives to an electronic system that manages documents throughout their entire lifecycle. It aims to ensure that records are properly preserved, remain accessible as required by regulations, and are kept secure, all while ensuring that the government’s documentary resources are used as efficiently as possible.

Public safety and risk management (Safe City)

The programme includes several measures to improve safety and manage risks across the Principality in real time. It brings together digital tools, a dedicated team, and a centralised database to anticipate and manage sensitive situations. Other innovative projects are used in support of this initiative, including 3D models, smart devices, and urban data, helping to better anticipate incidents and deliver effective, targeted responses.
