Launch of the Digital Talks Series

The Digital Transition Office (DITN) and the Digital Services Department (DSN) are launching the Digital Talks, a series of conferences aimed at the general public.

To serve the entire population, digital technology must make everyday life easier, be inclusive, responsible and sovereign. That is why the solutions deployed by the DITN for citizens are designed, developed and deployed after numerous qualification and testing phases. The State is committed to ensuring that no one is left behind, and so it provides support to Monegasques and residents in learning how to use these solutions at the Maison du Numérique or via a dedicated telephone service.

New digital tools are deployed by the Administration every year, with a particular focus on major digital transformation programmes in the following areas:

Housing

Improving the housing experience and associated formalities is key to making the Principality a more attractive place to live and meeting residents’ expectations. This programme is designed to make life easier for users by making services available online, such as access to housing support, and streamlining administrative procedures by giving officials new tools to work with. It also aims to improve the way state-owned housing is allocated with a new look, more modern experience for applicants.

Health & Inclusion

In the healthcare field, digital technology is useful for coordinating care and making interactions between patients, professionals, and institutions easier. The initiative has already seen the introduction of MonacoSanté, an online platform for booking appointments with healthcare professionals in the Principality, along with a secure health messaging service.

Online learning

Supporting pupils, teachers and families in a modern learning environment is a priority for the Monegasque government. The programme aims to ensure everyone is able to acquire essential digital skills, by providing teachers, pupils, and parents with the knowledge and resources they need to use technology effectively and safely in the modern world. It also aims to make full use of digital technology’s potential to support learning more widely.

Driver and Vehicle Licences

By bringing together all of the formalities involved in obtaining or updating vehicle registration documents and driving licences on a single online platform, we are making life much simpler for both individuals and businesses. The programme takes a comprehensive, innovative approach, digitising procedures, allowing applications and requests to be submitted in a range of ways (in person, by post, by email or online), and issuing secure card-format documents.
