Accreditation of H.E. Ms Mireille Martini as Ambassador of Monaco to the Republic of Kazakhstan

ENHANCING MONACO’S POSITION ON THE INTERNATIONAL STAGE
PRESS RELEASE

On 16 April 2026, H.E. Ms Mireille MARTINI presented her credentials to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart TOKAYEV, thereby becoming the second Ambassador of Monaco to the Republic of Kazakhstan since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 2019.

The ceremony, held at the Ak Orda Presidential Palace in Astana, provided an opportunity for the President to reiterate his wish to strengthen constructive and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.

For the first time since the establishment of the International Organisation of La Francophonie (OIF), the Conference brought together its Member States and Governments to hear the four candidates for the post of Secretary-General of La Francophonie for the 2027–2030 term.
