Outstanding results for the 2026 end-of-year examinations

The pass rate at the first sitting of the 2026 Baccalaureate examinations reached just over 97,4% in the general streams, reflecting the high standard of preparation and achievement among students.

With more than 324 honours awarded across all streams, including 53 highest honours, the Principality has once again distinguished itself through the quality of the educational pathways and support provided to upper secondary school students.

Breakdown of results by stream

General stream

97.4% of students from Lycée Albert Ier and Lycée François d'Assise – Nicolas Barré passed the examination, with 80.7% graduating with honours (248 honours in total):

• 47 highest honours (mentions "Très Bien"), including 5 awarded with the congratulations of the examination board
• 112 high honours (mentions "Bien")
• 89 honours (mentions "Assez Bien")

Technological stream

88,2% of students passed the examination, including:

• 9 high honours (mentions "Bien")
• 17 honours (mentions "Assez Bien")

Vocational stream

95.5% of students at Lycée Rainier III passed the examination, including:

• 6 highest honours (mentions "Très Bien"), including 1 awarded with the congratulations of the examination board
• 10 high honours (mentions "Bien")
• 34 honours (mentions "Assez Bien")

Higher education

Students also achieved exceptional results, with a 100% pass rate across all BTS programmes. The 2026 cohort at Lycée Rainier III in the BTS in Executive Support (SAM), BTS in Accounting and Management (CG) and BTS in Hospitality and Catering Management (MHR) recorded outstanding performances:

• In the BTS in Executive Support (SAM), one student ranked first in the Academy with an overall average mark of 19/20. She also achieved the highest-ever mark in Human Resources Management Support (CGRH) since the programme was introduced
• In the BTS in Accounting and Management (CG), one student also ranked first in the Academy with an overall average mark of 19.14/20
