The Prince’s Government website, gouv.mc, upgraded to enhance user experience
Each year, the official portal of the Prince’s Government, gouv.mc, records more than one million visits from over 190 countries and more than 1.8 million page views. It is a reference website for anyone interested in the Principality, whether private individuals or professionals, residents or non-residents.
As a key gateway to institutional information, the site generates more than 40,000 downloads of official publications and over 200,000 redirects to partner websites. It plays a central role in guiding users within the Monegasque Administration’s digital ecosystem, which now includes more than 80 online services.
Led by the Digital Transition Office (DITN), in close coordination with Ministries and Government Services, the project forms part of an ongoing commitment to continuous improvement in the service of users.
The new website https://www.gouv.mc/ features a fully redesigned interface, offering an optimised browsing experience across all devices (desktop, smartphone and tablet). It is also available in English to meet the expectations of international audiences.
Its streamlined architecture and updated content provide clearer and more comprehensive access to information, making it easier to understand the organisation, missions and actions of the Prince’s Government, while further highlighting the work of Government Services and enhancing their visibility through news and thematic sections related to Policy & Practice. The “History and Heritage” section has also been expanded to better showcase the initiatives undertaken in recent years in support of Monegasque culture.
With this redesign, the Prince’s Government reaffirms its commitment to providing clear, high-quality institutional information, serving users and aligned with the ongoing development strategy of public services in the Principality.
