Women's rights campaign wins two awards at the 2026 Cas d'OR Grandes Causes

Monaco’s Committee for the Promotion and Protection of Women's Rights has received two awards at the 2026 Cas d'OR Grandes Causes for its campaign marking the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.

It won the Special Jury Prize spanning all categories in recognition of its overall merit, as well as the award for campaigns specifically tackling violence. The Cas d'OR Grandes Causes recognise outstanding communication and digital campaigns that raise awareness of major social issues and serve the public interest.

The awards celebrate organisations and creative teams that combine innovation, creativity and measurable social impact.

This year’s ceremony recognised the Committee's ‘L'enfermer ce n'est pas l'aimer’ (‘Locking her up is not loving her’) campaign and the animated film #BoiteNoire, produced by Subliminal Pictures to raise awareness about coercive control. 

The film was broadcast on Monaco Info and shared on the Committee's website and social media channels. Since its release, it has been viewed more than 900,000 times on Instagram.

An English-language version was also produced featuring Toby Wright, the Committee's Ambassador for Women's Rights.
