25th Assises de la Cybersécurité opens in Monaco

Les Assises got under way yesterday in Monaco with an opening address by the event’s director, Maria Iacono, followed by a keynote speech by the Minister of State, Christophe Mirmand. Other speakers included Claudia Pina, seconded national expert at Eurojust, Vincent Strubel, Chief Executive of the ANSSI, France’s national cybersecurity agency, and Joffrey Céléstin-Urbain, President of Campus Cyber.

First held a quarter of a century ago, Les Assises de la Cybersécurité is now an essential event for experts in the field, bringing the cybersecurity community together to discuss current and future challenges.

The Monaco Cyber Security Initiative has its own dedicated space for professionals at the event, where the Monaco Digital Security Agency (AMSN) gathers the leading industry stakeholders who help safeguard the Principality’s digital environment. Participants include specialists in consulting, services, and support for government organisations, operators of vital importance, and businesses looking to include cybersecurity in their digital transition projects.

In his address, the Minister of State stressed the fundamental importance of trust in today’s uncertain climate. “In a highly connected world, amid international tensions, every innovation and every interaction depends on trust. And it is you, the cybersecurity community, who make that vital trust possible.”

During the event, ANSSI Chief Executive Vincent Struble joined his counterpart from the AMSN, Frédéric Fautrier, to renew the cooperation programme between their respective organisations for the period 2025-2030. The first cooperation agreement was signed on 1 October 2015 and renewed at Les Assises in 2020.

The programme, which builds on existing ties between France and Monaco, sees the two countries share information that can be used to improve cybersecurity, trust solutions and services, digital sovereignty, and crisis management. As part of their collaboration, the ANSSI invited the AMSN to take part in the RAMPAR25 exercise held on 18 September 2025, involving some 1,000 public and private sector organisations.
