Since it was introduced, the Extended Monaco Businesses programme has helped to bolster the adoption of a digital culture within the Principality’s economy. Over the course of four years, 700 businesses have received support through the programme’s various components, and training has been delivered to 4,000 people. There was active participation in the 2025 Digital FlashUp series, with more than 400 people attending the awareness sessions. The short, 45-minute format of these sessions, led by local experts, offers an opportunity to cover key topics in a simple, pragmatic way that can be applied immediately, while remaining closely tailored to business needs.

The Extended Monaco Businesses programme is part of a progressive approach that encompasses digital maturity audits, expert involvement and financial support from the Blue Fund, which can cover up to 70% of project costs. The Digital FlashUp sessions complement the programme by offering a dedicated space for improving information and understanding. Participants also have access to a comprehensive knowledge base on eme.gouv.mc, including practical step-by-step instructions, guides, tutorials, checklists and use cases, enabling them to deepen their understanding of each topic.

The Digital Services Department’s Digital Economy Unit will maintain this momentum in 2026, devoting a substantial part of its programme to the integration of artificial intelligence into working practices. An “AI Opportunity” questionnaire will help businesses to identify specific uses that could support their growth, while a new e-learning course, AI FlashLearn, will allow people to improve their skills at their own pace. Sessions will continue to be offered every two months, covering topics such as cybersecurity, e-commerce and digital optimisation, in line with the feedback on needs received this year.
