The new installations, which are more energy-efficient than the previous ones, incorporate several technical improvements. In particular, they allow for automatic restart in the event of accidental activation of an emergency stop, thereby reducing service interruptions. Their design also facilitates maintenance operations, with less frequent technical interventions and shorter periods of unavailability. Lastly, a dynamic LED lighting system accompanies the movement of the steps to clearly indicate the direction of travel to users.

By installing equipment that is more reliable and easier to understand for users, the Prince’s Government is helping to improve pedestrian mobility in this area, for the benefit of both residents and visitors.
