H.E. Ms Stéphanie Vikström presents her credentials to the King of Sweden

Her Excellency Ms Stéphanie Vikström formally presented her credentials to His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden during a ceremony at the Royal Palace in Stockholm on 16 April 2026.

Her appointment sees her become the Principality’s first ever accredited Ambassador to the Kingdom of Sweden, and is part of the Prince’s Government’s policy aimed at strengthening Monegasque diplomatic representation in Northern Europe. Sweden and Monaco share a historic commitment to the same essential values, and work closely together in international forums, particularly on issues such as marine conservation, support for marine research, and efforts to promote environmental sustainability.

During their meeting, H.E. Ms Stéphanie Vikström and His Majesty the King discussed opportunities to deepen cooperation and forge closer relations between the two countries.
