“Ma Place PMR” app expands support for people with reduced mobility in Monaco

Following the launch of the Street Nav app in October, Monaco has introduced a new digital service to further support inclusive mobility: the “Ma Place PMR” interface.
The app lets users locate and track the availability of on-street parking spaces for people with reduced mobility in near real time, making it easier for holders of disabled parking permits to plan their journeys.
So far, 64 of the 73 spaces identified have been equipped and are now covered by the app, with all disabled parking spaces in Monaco set to be linked to the app during 2026.
“MaPlacePMR is part and parcel of the Handipact policy adopted by the Prince’s Government, which is designed to be proactive, collaborative, and inclusive for all,” explained Christophe Robino, Minister of Health and Social Affairs.
The innovative and inclusive app was developed as part of a joint effort by government departments including the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs, the Interministerial Delegation for Digital Transition, and the Department of Urban Amenities, working hand in hand with private-sector partners Monaco Telecom, Tickitall, and Urbiotica.
The Monaco Association of People with Motor Disabilities was also closely involved in practical testing, in line with the Handipact principle: “nothing about us without us.”
The initiative means that in 2025, Monaco has launched two pioneering digital solutions to improve mobility and accessibility, helping people with disabilities move around and park more easily throughout the Principality.
