Major Events: Free Bus Travel to Continue in 2026

As part of its mobility plan, the Prince’s Government will continue to offer free bus travel on the Compagnie des Autobus de Monaco network during major events held in the Principality in 2026.

This measure, introduced on a trial basis in 2025, aims to encourage all users to make greater use of public transport during periods of high attendance, when traffic conditions are more constrained.

In 2026, free travel will apply during the following periods:

• Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters: from Monday 6 April to Friday 10 April 2026;
• Monaco Historic Grand Prix: from Friday 24 to Sunday 26 April 2026;
• Monaco E-Prix: from Saturday 16 to Sunday 17 May 2026;
• Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Grand Prix de Monaco: from Monday 1 June to Monday 8 June 2026;
• Vuelta: from Saturday 22 to Sunday 23 August 2026;
• Monaco Yacht Show and Luxe Pack: from Friday 18 September to Wednesday 30 September 2026.

Free travel will apply across the entire bus network, not only on routes serving event venues. Practical arrangements will be communicated by the Compagnie des Autobus de Monaco ahead of each event.

Through this initiative, the Prince’s Government reaffirms its commitment to promoting public transport during major international events and to improving travel conditions within the Principality.
