New online service to facilitate applications for business start-up grants

From 2 June, Monegasque nationals and their spouses starting their first business in the Principality will be able to submit applications for start-up grants online thanks to a new service accessible via MonGuichet.mc.

These business start-up grants offer financial support to entrepreneurs by covering their social security contributions and a portion of their business rental costs for three years. Currently, more than 100 entrepreneurs are accessing the funds.

It is now possible to complete all of the relevant procedures online, via a single, centralised system, with no need to submit physical documents to the Business Development Agency.

Designed to support users at every stage of their application, the online service allows project leaders to provide information about their business, submit the supporting documentation required to enable their application to be reviewed and monitor the progress of their application more easily.

This development, a joint initiative by the Ministry of Finance and Economy and the Digital Transition Office, is in line with the Prince’s Government’s aim of streamlining administrative procedures for Monegasque entrepreneurs and making public services increasingly accessible and tailored to daily needs.

Following the moving online of procedures for starting a business and relocating a registered office, this new service is a fully integrated element of the “Business” programme, supporting future self-employed people from the moment they start their business.

In addition to the benefits for users, this new solution also ensures that staff at the Business Development Agency receive structured, standardised and centralised applications, helping to streamline processing and improve the efficiency of the review procedure.
