Taxi Monaco app marks first anniversary supporting mobility in Monaco

Launched a year ago to make getting around the Principality a more convenient and modern experience, the Taxi Monaco app has been well received by residents, visitors and professionals, providing a reliable and user-friendly online service.

In the space of just twelve months, the app has shown promising results:

• More than 21,000 taxi journeys booked through the app
• More than 36,000 downloads in 154 countries
• More than 7,000 passengers have used the service
• In 2026, over 10% of journeys are already booked via the app, accounting for 15% of trips taken by private taxi customers.
• Most users access the service on iPhone (89%), with 11% on Android devices.

The integrated payment feature, available since launch, has also proved highly popular,  with nearly half of all journeys now paid for directly via the app.

Taxi Monaco also gets very positive ratings from users:

• 4.9/5 on the App Store (401 reviews)
• 4.6/5 on Google Play (49 reviews)

The app is popular with international users, with most accounts registered in France, Monaco, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Italy.

To support further development and meet the needs of international users, Taxi Monaco will soon introduce additional language options, including Spanish, Chinese, and Russian. Apple Pay will also be added by the end of the year.
