This new edition will focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) — a subject at the centre of current public debate. Through a series of talks and discussions, the Maison du Numérique seeks to provide a space for learning and dialogue to demystify this technology and demonstrate how it can serve humanity.

According to Pascal Rouison, Head of the Digital Transition Office, “Artificial intelligence has now become part of our daily lives. Through Immersive Week, we want to provide everyone with the tools to better understand its uses and impacts. Our goal is to show that it can truly be a driver of progress that serves society.”

This message is shared by Georges Marsan, Mayor of Monaco, who highlighted the central role played by the Maison du Numérique in supporting all audiences: “The Maison du Numérique acts as a bridge between a constantly evolving digital world and the generations trying, as best they can, to benefit from the improvements that these technologies bring. Its very purpose is to reduce the digital divide.”

Over the course of four days, eight conferences will be led by professionals, academics and researchers from the region. Each will share their insights into the practical applications of AI in fields such as healthcare, education, the environment and business.

For Martin Péronnet, Chief Executive Officer of Monaco Telecom, this event perfectly embodies the desire to bridge the gap between innovation and society: “With Immersive Week, the Maison du Numérique builds a bridge between each of us and the companies that have embarked on the great adventure of artificial intelligence. AI may inspire fear or fascination, but it is here to stay — and we are only at the beginning. The speakers will help us understand how it can and must serve humanity.”

Participation is free, upon registration via www.mdn.mc.
