Pursuing an active cultural policy

Organised by the Department of Cultural Affairs of Monaco, the 4th edition of the Open Stage – Talents of Fort Antoine, dedicated to young artists from the Principality, will take place on Friday 10 July 2026.

The Department of Cultural Affairs inaugurated on Wednesday 8 April, in the presence of H.S.H. Prince Albert II, the exhibition of the winners of the photography competition for young people aged 11 to 25, on the theme “Heritage at Risk”, in line with the 2026 edition of the European Heritage Days. 

To mark its thirtieth anniversary, the Stamp and Coin Museum is inviting the public to explore its history with an exhibition titled “From Money Museum to Stamp and Coin Museum”.

The Department of Cultural Affairs has commissioned two artists trained at the École Supérieure d’Arts Plastiques de Monaco (Pavillon Bosio), Maëva LU-CHI-VANG and Théophile SARGENTI, to create an artwork at the Rainier III Auditorium based on photographs of conductors of the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra, previously displayed along the Kreizberg Hall. These photographs come from a collection held by the Department of Cultural Affairs that was donated to the Principality by Bob MARTIN, a multifaceted artist. Both a double bassist with the Orchestra and a photographer, he captured unique moments in the life of the ensemble for more than 30 years.
