The Government of Monaco's official development assistance, implemented by the Department of International Cooperation, supports over 150 projects each year in 11 partner countries, mainly LDCs (Least Developed Countries).

All Monegasque aid is allocated in the form of donations or technical assistance.

The most vulnerable members of the population: children, women, the disabled, refugees/displaced persons, etc., are at the centre of the Monegasque Cooperation Programme.

There is also a focus on emergency humanitarian aid, delivered in response to various global crises, such as natural disasters and political conflicts.

Monaco's official development assistance has been steadily increasing since 2015 (€58.3M between 2018-2020, €74M between 2022-2024).

For more information, please visit the Monegasque Cooperation for Development website and the Foreign Policy Report.
