CORONAVIRUS: one new positive case recorded in Monaco on Monday

One new positive case of COVID-19 was recorded on Monday 27 April.

This means that the number of people infected by the coronavirus in the Principality is now 95.

No new recoveries were reported compared with yesterday, leaving the total number of patients who have so far recovered at 42.

Two people are in hospital, one of whom is in intensive care.

It should be noted that those tested and hospitalised are not all residents of the Principality.

In keeping with the principle adopted by the health authorities in the Principality of Monaco, only patients with severe COVID-19 symptoms are being hospitalised.

People with mild symptoms are asked to self-isolate at home while being medically monitored.

To date, 43 patients are being monitored by the Home Patient Follow-Up Centre.
