COVID-19: Two New Positive Cases and Two Recoveries on Wednesday 23 September

Two new positive cases of COVID-19 were identified on Wednesday.

This therefore brings the overall health figures for the Principality to 199 people affected by the Coronavirus.

This evening, ten patients are being treated at the CHPG: two patients, including one who is a resident, are in intensive care and eight patients are hospitalised. Five of them are residents.

There are two recoveries to be noted. The total number of people who have now recovered therefore amounts to 165.

This Wednesday evening, 23 people are being monitored by the Home Patient Follow-up Centre, which provides medical support to people with mild symptoms, who are invited to self-isolate at home.

In line with the practices adopted by the World Health Organization and neighbouring countries in this regard, these daily health assessment figures report only on resident persons affected by the Coronavirus.
