Renewing a Vehicle Registration Sticker: Choose Online Payment

The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Office (STC) has sent out invoices for registration stickers for the year 2021 to all owners of vehicles registered in the Principality. The Prince's Government recommends that users choose the safest and fastest means of payment: payment on line, by bank card, on the Government's website, www.gouv.mc.

As concerns the current health situation, the dedicated online service involves no risk for users or STC staff. In addition, the procedure can be carried out more quickly.

- Online payment is also simple: all you have to do is go to https://teleservice.gouv.mc/estampille/public/demarrer.jsp with the issue number mentioned at the top left-hand corner of the invoice and complete the procedure in a few clicks.
- Payment by cheque (payable in Monaco or France), made out to the Service des Titres de Circulation, accompanied by the duly completed and signed invoice, can be made in one of two ways: it should be sent in an envelope labelled with the sticker provided, with a stamp affixed at the current postal rate, or placed in the green post box installed for this purpose at the entrance to the corridor of the STC (23 Avenue Albert II, 1st floor).

Payment must be made before 31 December 2020.

A penalty for late payment will be imposed, per vehicle, from 1 January 2021. Vehicles for which payment has not been made will be deregistered from 5 February 2021, after formal notification has been sent.

Please note that:
• any change of address, civil status or renewal of ID cards must be reported to the STC (in certain cases, it may be necessary to update driving licences and registration certificates);
• the sticker is free for electric vehicles. However, owners are asked to return the invoice duly completed and signed in order to request renewal.
