On 5 July, the Government and the Monegasque Olympic Committee, in the presence of H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince, President of this Committee, signed an agreement on monitoring the health of aspiring and high-level Monegasque athletes.

Supporting performance is essential for sporting success. These athletes, who are faced with the constraints of training and competition, must have the best conditions in order to succeed in their chosen sport.

The aim of this monitoring, which ensures that they have specialist medical supervision, is thus to prevent any health risks related to intensive physical and sporting activities, protect their health, advise them on how to avoid accidents and support their recovery in the event of injury.

The Sports Medicine Centre is responsible for medical check-ups and the appropriate support for each athlete.

This Agreement is a practical expression and continuation of the fruitful partnership between the Government and the Monegasque Olympic Committee. It is testimony to the constant concern for the health of the younger generation.
