CORONAVIRUS - Prince’s Government to expand COVID-19 telephone information service

©Direction de la Communication - Michael Alesi

On 30 January this year, the Prince’s Government set up a COVID-19 information centre for the general public.

To enable the emergency services and Princess Grace Hospital to focus on their primary missions, circumstances mean that this information unit will need to continue operating over the longer term, while ensuring continuity in government departments.

From 9 am tomorrow, Friday 6 March, the COVID-19 Call Centre, a telephone information service, will take over, staffed by a dedicated team from the Department of Health Affairs (DASA), first aiders from the Monaco Red Cross and a medical supervisor.

Monegasque nationals, residents and employees can contact the centre to discuss any questions they may have about COVID-19 by calling 92 05 55 00. The line will be open every day from 9 am to 6 pm. The centre can also be emailed at the following address: covid19@gouv.mc .

The Prince’s Government would like to remind readers that in the event of any doubt, particularly if you have visited an area where the virus is circulating and have significant symptoms consistent with the disease (fever, cough, breathing difficulties, etc.) you should contact the emergency services directly on 18 or 112.

To avoid infecting others, people with symptoms are asked not to visit their normal doctor or the Accident and Emergency Unit.
