COVID-19: Twenty-Two New Positive Cases and Fourteen Recoveries on Wednesday 20 January

Twenty-two new positive cases of COVID-19 were identified on Wednesday 20 January.

This therefore brings the overall health figures for the Principality to 1,262 people affected by the Coronavirus since the beginning of the health crisis.

This evening, forty-two people are being treated at the CHPG:  thirty-one patients, eighteen of whom are residents, are hospitalised.  Moreover, this evening, eleven people, four of whom are residents, are in intensive care.

Today, there are fourteen further recoveries to be noted. The total number of people who have recovered thus amounts to 1,050.

This Wednesday evening, 130 people are being monitored by the Home Patient Follow-up Centre, which provides medical support to people with mild symptoms, who are invited to self isolate at home.

In line with the practices adopted by the World Health Organization and neighbouring countries in this regard, these daily health assessment figures report only on resident persons affected by the Coronavirus.
