COVID-19 : One New Positive Case and One Recovery on Tuesday 25 May

One new positive case of COVID-19 was identified on Tuesday 25th May.

This therefore brings the overall health figures for the Principality to 2,502 people affected by the Coronavirus since the beginning of the health crisis.

This evening, three non-resident people are being treated at Princess Grace Hospital.

Today, there is one further recovery to be noted. The total number of people who have recovered thus amounts to 2,461. 

This Tuesday evening, 7 people are being monitored by the Home Patient Follow-up Centre, which provides medical support to people with mild symptoms, who are invited to self-isolate at home.

In line with the practices adopted by the World Health Organization and neighbouring countries in this regard, these daily health assessment figures report only on resident persons affected by the Coronavirus.

The Prince's Government is also communicating the figures relating to testing. These figures are as of Sunday 23 May inclusive.

- Number of tests carried out on resident and non-resident patients between 10/05 and 16/05 inclusive:  4,629 PCR and antigen tests.

- Rate of positive tests carried out on residents and non-residents:  0.41%   

- Incidence rate, i.e. the number of positive Coronavirus cases per 100,000 inhabitants over the past seven days: 20.86 (last week:  36.5).
