Two New Positive Cases and One Recovery this Wednesday

Two new positive cases of COVID-19 were identified in the Principality on Wednesday 29 July.

The affected persons are residents and are being cared for by the Home Patient Follow-up Centre.

The overall health figures for the Principality therefore stand at 120 people affected by the Coronavirus.

One of the two patients who were hospitalised has left the CHPG.  Only one patient is still in hospital this evening.

The discharge of a patient from hospital counts as an additional recovery.  The total number of people who have recovered is thus 105 patients.

This evening, seven people are being monitored by the Home Patient Follow-up Centre, which provides medical support to people with mild symptoms, who are invited to self-isolate at home.

It should be noted that not all the people tested and hospitalised are resident in the Principality.
