New Impetus for the DTC's London Office

With a team that has been completely renewed for more efficiency in view of the recent political and economic upheavals across the Channel, the London office of Monaco Tourist and Convention Authority (DTC), headed by its Director, Stephan Degueurce-Roberge, has been very active in the first quarter of 2017.

This dynamism was recognised at the 2017 Meeting & Incentive Travel Awards 2017, when this office was presented with the Bronze Trophy for the Best Overseas Convention Bureau, at a dinner attended by more than 700 Conference & Incentives organisers.

On 9 March 2017, in the presence of Guillaume Rose, Director of the DTC, a promotional campaign was undertaken in a private apartment in London with five Monegasque partners:  the Novotel Monte-Carlo, the Columbus Monte-Carlo, InspireMe, Incentive Concept and Phenix Events.  This exclusive event was an opportunity for 65 agencies and events organisation companies in Europe to find out about the latest advantages and excellent positioning of the Monegasque hotel industry, as well as the expertise of its incoming agencies.

Great Britain is already positioned as the 2nd European destination market, and must continue to develop relevant, innovative activities to generate "business" demand.  Monaco's position must be maintained as the world's leading exceptional tourism brand on the market.
