Prince Pierre of Monaco Foundation - Press Release No. 7 - 2018 Prizewinners

The winners of the 2018 Prince Pierre Foundation awards have now been announced:

- Musical Composition Prize

Thomas LARCHER for his work Symphony No. 2 Kenotaph (2016) – For orchestra

 - Young Music Fans’ Favourite Choice

Marko Nikodijevic for his work Absolutio (2016) – For orchestra

- Literary Prize

Maurizio Serra, for his entire body of work

- Discovery Grant

Sébastien Ministru, for Apprendre à lire (Learning to Read), Le Courage series, Editions Grasset, January 2018

- High School Students’ Favourite Choice

Emmanuelle Favier for Le courage qu’il faut aux rivières (The Courage Needed for Rivers), Albin Michel, August 2017

- Prize for a Critical Essay on Contemporary Art

Jennifer Boyd for the publication: Skinned / Detouched.

Artistic work by Alice Channer, words by Jennifer Boyd.

Two volumes published by Eastside Projects (Birmingham) and Motto Books (Berlin), 2018. 

- Principality Prize

Jean-Luc Marion for the entirety of his philosophical work.

This prize is awarded jointly by Philosophical Encounters of Monaco and the Prince Pierre Foundation.
