With a few weeks to go until the 6th Monaco e-Prix (6 May 2023) and 80th F1 Monaco Grand Prix (25 to 28 May 2023), the Department of Urban Amenities will, as every year, be carrying out resurfacing work on part of the circuit and in certain other areas of the city, to ensure that the Principality’s urban road network is properly maintained.

To minimise traffic disruption, the work will be mainly carried out at night from Monday 6 March 2023, according to the following schedule:

Tunnel Louis II (closed to traffic and parking) from Monday 6 to Wednesday 8 March between 8 pm and 6 am

Avenue J.F. Kennedy (closed to traffic and parking) from Monday 6 to Tuesday 7 March between 8 pm and 6 am

Route de la Piscine (South harbour) (closed to traffic and parking) from Tuesday 7 to Thursday 9 March between 8 pm and 6 am

Boulevard Albert Ier (closed to traffic and parking) from Wednesday 8 to Friday 10 March between 8 pm and 6 am

Avenue de la Porte Neuve (upper hairpin) (lane closed with alternating traffic) from Wednesday 15 to Thursday 16 March between 8 pm and 6 am

Bus stops
• Princesse Alice (alternating traffic): from Monday 13 to Wednesday 15 March between 8 pm and 6 am
• Villa Sauber (closed to traffic): from Monday 14 to Wednesday 15 March between 8 pm and 6 am
• Albert II (Shopping Mall) (closed to traffic): from Thursday 16 to Friday 17 March between 8 pm and 6 am

Jardin Saint Martin: during the day from Monday 20 to Friday 24 March between 8.30 am and 7.30 pm

Rue des Remparts (corner of Place du Palais) (closed to traffic) from Wednesday 22 to Thursday 23 March between 9 pm and 4 am

The different bus routes affected by the work will be diverted between 8 pm and 6 am. Users will be informed in advance. Emergency services will be permitted to access all work areas as required.

Local residents will be fully informed of the changes, while special steps will be taken to update road signs for users of private car parks and shops. Diversions for pedestrians will also be clearly marked.
