Dorsale spine road in Fontvieille to be partially closed to traffic from 1 June

From Wednesday 1 June to Wednesday 8 June, the government will partially close the Dorsale spine road to traffic travelling from Nice to Menton between the Auréglia roundabout and the Canton underground roundabout from 9 am to 4 pm. The closure will be in place from 8 am to 9 pm on Saturday 4 June. During this partial closure to traffic, the Prince’s Government will do everything in its power to minimise the impact on travel during peak hours.

The road will, however, remain open to traffic on Sunday 5 June and Monday 6 June (Whitsun). Construction work will be paused on these two days to maintain peace and quiet for local residents.

In parallel with the work that is being carried out during the day, work that will cause limited disruption will require the Dorsale spine road to be closed at night in both directions between the two roundabouts, from 9 pm to 6 am on 1, 2, 7, 8 and 13 June.

These road works are part of the Grand Ida construction project, an important pillar of the National Housing Plan for Monegasques.
