Following its cancellation in 2020 due to the pandemic, the Monte-Carlo International Showjumping Championship will be back from 1 to 3 July 2021, to the delight of equestrian sports fans.

As in previous years, the event will be held on the South Dock. The technical constraints involved mean that work to install the facilities will begin in mid-June.

From 14 June, work will begin on the South Dock.

Starting on 17 June 2021, parking will no longer be permitted on the roads in the Port.

From 28 June, Quai Albert I and the Esplanade des Pêcheurs will accommodate the public facilities and areas for the horses.

These locations will be gradually cleared from 4 July, with a return to normal planned by 9 July 2021.

Traffic changes will be put in place from 14 June to ensure continued accessibility during this time.

Among other things, the Department of Urban Amenities will be making changes to the road layout in the area surrounding Place Sainte Dévote, to ease the flow of traffic. Traffic will be able to travel in both directions on Avenue J.F. Kennedy and a roundabout will be created on Place Sainte Dévote.
