COVID-19: No New Positive Cases and One Recovery on Monday 31 May

No new positive cases of COVID-19 were identified on Monday 31 May.

The overall health figures for the Principality therefore remain at 2,504 people affected by the Coronavirus since the beginning of the health crisis.

This evening, two patients are being treated at Princess Grace Hospital:  one person, who is a resident, is hospitalised, and another, who is non-resident, is in intensive care.

Today, there is one further recovery to be noted. The total number of people who have recovered thus amounts to 2,467.

This Monday evening, two people are being monitored by the Home Patient Follow-up Centre, which provides medical support to patients with mild symptoms, who are invited to self-isolate at home.

In line with the practices adopted by the World Health Organization and neighbouring countries in this regard, these daily health assessment figures report only on resident persons affected by the Coronavirus.

The Prince's Government is also communicating the figures relating to testing. These figures are as of Sunday 30 May inclusive.

  • - Number of tests carried out on resident and non-resident patients between 24/05 and 30/05 inclusive:  3,042 PCR and antigen tests.
  • - Rate of positive tests carried out on residents and non-residents:  0.33 %
  • - Incidence rate, i.e. the number of positive Coronavirus cases per 100,000 inhabitants over the past seven days:  7.82 (last week:  20.86).
