A general presentation of the various preparations under way for the Universal Exposition in Dubai, to be held from 20 October 2020 to 10 April 2021, took place on Tuesday 28 November at the Monte-Carlo Bay.

With a view to the Principality’s participation in Expo Dubai 2020, the theme for which is “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future”, Monaco Inter Expo (MIE) is keen to ensure that all of the country’s institutional bodies have an opportunity to get involved in this international event, which will bring together more than 180 countries.

Albert Croesi, Managing Director of MIE and General Commissioner of the Monaco Pavilion for the event, explained: “We want to present a 360° view of Monaco. All Monegasque organisations are invited to get involved in developing the concept for the Pavilion, so that we can make sure we provide them with a structure which is tailored to their needs. Monaco’s objective for this new exposition is to present to the 25 million visitors expected by the organisers all of the attractions offered by the Principality, which are still little known in that part of the world.”

At the end of this initial preparatory meeting, the President of MIE and the Principality’s Association of Architects signed a document making the first partnership for Expo Dubai 2020 official.
