Shop and restaurant terraces can occupy public highway for free during Q1 2022
As part of the measures to support businesses in the Principality, the Prince’s Government and Monaco City Hall have decided to once again allow shop and restaurant terraces to occupy the public highway for free during the first quarter of 2022.
As in January to September 2021, Monaco City Hall will therefore grant a 50% discount on the fee for occupying the public highway and the State, via the Economic Recovery Support Commission (CARE), will cover the remaining 50% of the cost. Businesses do not need to take any action in order to receive this support and will be kept informed by the municipal departments.
Through this measure, the Prince’s Government and Monaco City Hall hope to continue to help local businesses as they work to emerge from the crisis towards economic recovery.
