Frédéric Fautrier, Director of the Monaco Cyber Security Agency (AMNS), awarded a new IT System Security Auditor (PASSI) certificate to Frank Vanhal, partner at PwC Monaco, and Stefan Thibault, Director of Cybersecurity at PwC, on Monday 21 March.

PwC first received this certification in 2019, and has today had its ability to carry out IT system audits renewed for three years, in accordance with a demanding framework and processes overseen by an independent authority, guaranteeing the quality, impartiality and effectiveness of the auditing services, as well as the relevance of the advice provided and confidence in the supplier. This certification, which forms part of the Principality’s national digital security strategy, is a prerequisite to be able to assess the security of IT systems belonging to the Monegasque State and companies in the Principality.

PwC has been operating in the Principality for more than 15 years and has 12 PASSI-certified auditors. The company supports the security of major digital transition projects in the Principality.

By relying on organisations like this, with each passing day Monaco strengthens confidence in its digital space, a source of growth and opportunity for local companies.
