The Principality’s attractiveness is key to its development. The challenge lies in knowing how to meet the expectations of residents, investors, businesses, employees and tourists. As such, the task encompasses all aspects of government action.

It is for this reason that H.S.H. Prince Albert II has made it a major priority for His Government and is keen to strengthen the cross-ministerial dimension of actions and policies to promote attractiveness.

With this in mind, the Sovereign Prince decided to appoint a Country Chief Officer for Attractiveness. The role has been entrusted to Frédéric GENTA, who now becomes Country Chief Officer for Attractiveness and the Digital Transition; he has also been appointed Secretary-General of the Strategic Council for Attractiveness.

Much like the work that has successfully been undertaken on the digital transition in recent years, the objectives which have been set for Frédéric GENTA aim to produce a cross-ministerial strategy that is appropriate to a rapidly changing world, and to do everything possible to ensure that it is sustainable over the long term.

Frédéric GENTA will carry out his remit under the direct authority of the Minister of State, who is keen to see optimisation of the State’s policies and resources for strengthening the Principality’s attractiveness.
