The National Committee for Monegasque Traditions Celebrates its Patron Saint
On Friday 6 December, the National Committee for Monegasque Traditions paid tribute to Saint Nicolas, its patron saint.
After a Mass in the Monegasque language, celebrated by Monsignor Fabrice Gallo, presided over by Monsignor Bernard Barsi, Archbishop of Monaco and featuring U Cantin d'a Roca, school children presented a short play on the Legend of Saint Nicholas.
This celebration took place in the presence of many dignitaries, including Stéphane Valeri, President of the National Council, Patrice Cellario, Minister of Interior and Françoise Gamerdinger, representing the Mayor of Monaco.
